Barbara Ann Chesney McKinney Mitchell, 79, passed away Jan. 7, 2026.
A native of Greer, daughter of the late Herman and Geneva Beatrice Bailey Chesney, she was a homemaker and a member of Old Fashioned Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William R. Mitchell of the home; three sons, Philip McKinney, Steven McKinney, and Richie McKinney all of Greer; a brother Ronnie Chesney of Greer; ten grandchildren, Chad, Bradley, Kyle, Tyler, Dustin, Lauren, Jacob, Shane, Eric, and Ashley; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mitchell was predeceased by her first husband, Benny Randolph McKinney.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Danny Monroe.
The family will be at their respective homes.
