Eastside High School’s Lydia Parker is the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.

Voting opened Monday and remained open until noon on Wednesday. Voters were able to cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.

Parker tallied two goals and three assists as Eastside went 4-0 and captured the Sabalier Classic tournament championship over the weekend.

Nominees for the week of Feb. 22-March 1 included Parker, Luke Godfrey of Greer, and Mia Gallello of Riverside. 

The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week is a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year. Athletes from Greer, Byrnes, Riverside, Eastside, Greer Middle College, and Blue Ridge are eligible.
