Elementary Schools across Greenville County hosted high school graduates for their Senior Clap Out ceremonies on Thursday.

Graduates from Greenville County Schools were invited to walk the halls of their elementary schools one more time to the applause of former teachers, family members, and the next generation of graduates. Most wore their cap and gowns, and some wore merchandise from their colleges of choice.

“Parents, siblings, current and past teachers all reunite to celebrate their beginning at Buena Vista Elementary and beyond,” said Buena Vista Elementary School Principal David Burgess. “[We are] family from the first day of kindergarten to seniors in high school.”
