Best Buy Metals recently celebrated the opening of its Greer location with warehouse tours and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Cleveland, Tennessee-based company expanded to the Upstate with its Greenville location in 2017. Best Buy Metals CEO Isaac Libbey says that after nearly nine years, the team outgrew the spot and needed a larger facility.
They found that facility in Greer, officially opening their doors at 13582 E Wade Hampton Blvd. in February. Libbey and the crew celebrated the milestone with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, April 30.
“We try to take care of our customers and provide the best products we can get,” Libbey said. “We’ve been thankful to continue to grow, and now that we’re closer to Spartanburg, we hope to extend our reach further.”
The Greer location has 35 employees who work to manufacture metal roofing, siding and building materials. Libbey says the location can handle two semi-loads of metal per day. The metal comes in coils, which are then cut into sheets and designed to fit the client’s needs.
