Nights of Lights, presented by Prisma Health, continues its tradition of giving back to area charities and residents with weekly promo nights.

Now open for its third year, the Christmas attraction combines charitable efforts with the creation of lifelong memories in a family-friendly environment. Located in CCNB Amphitheatre at Simpsonville’s historic Heritage Park, Nights of Lights seeks to positively impact its community around the holiday season.

“On the surface, we’re a Christmas attraction that allows families to come together and spend quality time together, which makes a powerful impact in and of itself,” Michael Richardson, co-creator of Nights of Lights said. “But what makes it even better is our ability to contribute to our community in the process. We want to make sure everyone can join us, so that’s why we continue to offer free entry on certain nights for cherished community members as well as donation drive nights to benefit our partners and neighbors.”

Guests who visit Nights of Lights on specific nights can earn free entry to the festivities.

-Sundays honor senior citizens, with guests ages 65 and over receiving free admission.

-Wednesdays show appreciation for all active, reserve, and retired military members with the gift of free admission.

-Thursdays are Hero Days, where all first responders – including police officers, nurses, EMS workers, and firefighters – can get into Nights of Lights for free.

-Teachers will say “TGIF” on Fridays, as teachers (including homeschool teachers) get free admission to kick off the weekend.

In order to receive free admission, guests must show valid ID.

Additionally, Mondays, Tuesdays, and one very special Thursday offer other guests the chance to get into Nights of Lights for free,

-Every Monday, Nights of Lights holds a canned food drive, where guests can earn free admission with the donation of five non-perishable food items per person. Food will be distributed to area food pantries each week. While any shelf-stable items will be accepted, area food pantries suggest canned meats and stews, canned soup, pasta, peanut butter and jelly.

-Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays help our four-legged neighbors, as Nights of Lights collects donations for area animal shelters. Guests earn free admission with one donation for local animal shelters, which must be new and in its original packaging. Local animal shelters often need dog and cat food, pill pockets, durable toys, blankets and towels, and animal-safe cleaning supplies.

Open for the season as of Nov. 21, Nights of Lights welcomes families and Christmas lovers of all ages through Dec. 31, 2025. The event is open to the public daily, including holidays; hours of operation are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Guests can purchase tickets in person at CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park, located at 861 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC, 29681, or online at lightsatheritagepark.com.
