Winter Storm Gianna blew through the Upstate over the weekend, leaving multiple inches of snow across the region.Â
Due to the potential for icy road conditions following Gianna, several city and county offices, as well as schools, will be closed or on a delayed schedule. Here's a look at the updated hours for some of these offices, as of Sunday evening.
City of Greer Trash Schedule
Greer’s Monday trash routes will begin on a delayed schedule on Feb. 2. According to the city, trash crews will service as many customers as possible. Due to disposal site closures, collection crews will have to stop once their trucks are full.
The city will continue to provide updates on its website and Facebook page regarding trash collection or office closures.
Greenville County Offices
All Greenville County offices will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Feb. 2. Offices will open at 10 a.m.
Spartanburg County Offices
All Spartanburg County offices — as well as the County courthouse, landfill and recycling centers — will be closed on Monday, Feb. 2.
Greenville County Schools
Greenville County Schools will operate on an e-learning schedule for Monday, Feb. 2, and Tuesday, Feb. 3. Schools and office buildings will be closed, and all activities, including athletic events and field trips, are canceled. Students will receive instruction virtually and will not have to make up the days.
Spartanburg District Five Schools
