September is here, and there are several events coming up in Greer and Lyman for residents to enjoy.
Here’s a look at four events happening this weekend:
Lyman’s Music on the Hill | Thursday, Sept. 10, 7-9 p.m.
The Town of Lyman is continuing its Music on the Hill event series with a live performance by Split Shot tonight at the Lyman Amphitheater (146 Community St.). The Mushibi Ladies, a local Hawaiian restaurant, will be on-site selling food alongside the performance.
Greer Recovery Celebration | Friday, Sept. 11, 4-7 p.m.
FAVOR Upstate, a nonprofit that provides free addiction recovery services, will host a free recovery celebration in Greer City Park this Friday. This event is part of FAVOR Upstate’s National Recovery Month event series and will include live music, food and games.
Lyman Farmers Market | Saturday, Sept, 12, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Lyman Farmers Market will continue its season this Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Lyman parking lot. For more information on the market, visit www.lymanmarket.com/.Â
Greer Farmers Market Mushroom Day | Sunday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Greer Farmers Market will continue its season this Sunday at Greer City Park with its Mushroom Day celebrations. Two of its vendors, I See Fungi and Wildly Loved Mushrooms, will provide free mini mushroom grow kits for kids.
