The Greer Farmers Market will host its 6th Annual Peach Cookoff Fundraiser on Sunday, July 19, at Greer City Park.

The Peach Cookoff is an annual event inviting residents to try local recipes while enjoying the regular Sunday market. In addition to the cookoff itself, this year’s event will feature over 60 vendors, a Biggest Peach Competition and an educational booth on the history of farming in Greer, hosted by the Greer Heritage Museum.

To enjoy the cookoff, marketgoers can stop by one of the Greer Farmers Market booths to purchase $1 taste tickets. Each ticket gets you one sample, and all proceeds benefit the Greer Farmers Market. Tasters will be given a popsicle stick that they can bring back to the Greer Farmers Market booth to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award.

Here’s a look at current contestants for the 2026 Peach Cookoff:

  • Just the Coffee Cafe

  • The Cooks Station

  • Sinfully Delicious LLC

  • Chef Bear - Patterson Kitchen + Bar

Market officials say there is still time to sign up to be a contestant or a judge. Interested individuals, restaurants or businesses can sign up here.
