On Wednesday, November 5, members of the Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed two search warrants stemming from a long-term investigation into an illegal drug distribution network operating within Greenville County.
As a result of the operation, investigators arrested Ladale Kashior Bell, of Greenville, SC. Bell was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl (over 28 grams), Trafficking Cocaine (over 400 grams), Possession with Intent to Distribute within ½ Mile of a School (x2), Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Possession of a Weapon by a Violent Felon and Possession of a Stolen Weapon.
During the search, investigators seized the following items:
Approximately 5 ounces of Fentanyl
Approximately 1.1 pounds of Cocaine
Approximately 110 grams of Marijuana
Two firearms, one of which was reported stolen
$2,754 in U.S. currency
This investigation highlights the continued efforts of the Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit to disrupt and dismantle illegal drug operations that pose a significant threat to our community.
The Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit is a combined effort undertaken by Sheriff Hobart Lewis and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, the 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office, Greenville Police Department, Greer Police Department, Mauldin Police Department, Simpsonville Police Department, Fountain Inn Police Department, and the Travelers Rest Department.
