The Lyman Farmers Market is currently hosting a Fraser fir Christmas tree sale, with each purchase supporting the market’s next season.
Residents can order the North Carolina-grown Christmas trees online and pick them up in Lyman over Thanksgiving weekend. The trees are Grade No. 2 Fraser firs, standard Christmas trees with some variation in shape and fullness.
“Our hope is that families will make a little tradition out of it,” said Megan Fisher, owner of the Lyman Farmers Market. “They'll pick up their Christmas tree, maybe enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, and know that their purchase is helping us bring more vendors, fresh produce and family-friendly experiences to Lyman next year.”
A $40 deposit is required for each tree reservation, regardless of size, and the remaining balance is paid when residents pick up their trees. Here’s a look at pricing:
5–6 feet: $60
6–7 feet: $80
7–8 feet: $100
8–9 feet: $135
9–10 feet: $175
Preorders for the Christmas tree sale close on Friday, Oct. 23. For additional information or to reserve a Christmas tree, see the Lyman Farmers Market’s order form.
