The City of Greer Planning and Development Department has launched the Building Greer Together dashboard, giving residents a real-time look at development activity across the city.
On the dashboard, residents can see active rezones and annexations being considered by the city. Alexander Cahill, the City of Greer Planning & Development Director, says the dashboard is part of a larger growth management strategy designed to engage the community in city planning decisions.
“The Building Greer Together dashboard is an exciting opportunity for people in our community to share their opinions, experiences and insights on how development impacts them at a neighborhood level,” Cahill said. “The feedback provided through the dashboard will inform our team’s work, contribute to advisory body decisions and help build relationships with the community.”
The new dashboard can be accessed at https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/28cbf33940a14538a06b5613fd8bb8be. Residents can request additional information on cases by emailing planning@cityofgreersc.gov or calling (864) 801-2009.
