Greer CPW invites residents to spend some time outdoors this summer. They’ve opened shelter rentals for Lake Robinson and Lake Cunningham for 2026.

Lake John A. Robinson has two shelters available for rent at the J. Verne Smith Recreational Area.

One shelter has six tables under one cover and features a large, open deck overlooking Lake Robinson. There are electrical outlets available and public restrooms are attached to what they call Shelter One.

Shelter Two has four tables under one cover, overlooking Lake Robinson, Glassy Mountain and Hogback Mountain from the highest point in the park. Electrical outlets are available at this shelter as well.

The third shelter is located at Lake Cunningham Park on North McElhaney Rd. off of Hwy 101 North, behind Lake Cunningham Fire Department. The shelter has three tables under one cover and includes electrical outlets. Handicap parking is adjacent to the shelter and a covered fishing pier.

Shelter rentals range from $100-$300 based on location.
