Prisma Health is offering a free webinar, ‘Taking Control of Heart Failure: Advances in Care and Treatment’ at noon on Aug. 26.  

The educational webinar will feature Dr. Eddie Rame, a heart failure leader for Prisma Health’s Heart & Vascular Institute. The webinar will provide an overview of how cardiologists define heart failure, common symptoms and the latest advances in treatment designed to help patients live healthier lives.  

Heart failure affects millions of Americans. Being able to recognize symptoms early and understand available treatment options can help patients better manage their conditions and improve their long-term outcomes. 

During the webinar, participants will learn how to:  

  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of heart failure 

  • Learn when to seek medical care 

  • Understand available treatment options 

  • Better manage heart failure and improve overall heart health 

A live question-and-answer session will allow participants to ask questions and receive answers directly from Dr. Rame and other heart failure specialists.
