The Tipsy Taco Greer location closed its doors this week, preparing the space to become a new Italian restaurant.
Tipsy Taco is a Tex-Mex restaurant with seven locations across North and South Carolina. The Greer location opened in 2019 and had its last official day on Dec. 31, 2025. The space will soon be occupied by Capri’s Italian Restaurant.
“This spot has been more than a restaurant; it’s been a community hangout filled with great food, even better drinks, and countless unforgettable moments,” the post read. “While this chapter has come to an end, the space is already gearing up for its next adventure.”
While the Greer location is closing, owners at the Tipsy Taco say that their other locations will not be affected. Capri’s Italian is set to open its doors in Greer in February of this year. The restaurant offers Italian cuisine at several Upstate locations.
