The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (GSP) will be hosting a Global Entry enrollment event in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection this month.
Global Entry is a CBP Trusted Traveler Program that allows expedited processing for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. The program provides flyers with access to TSA PreCheck benefits, enabling quicker security screenings for domestic travelers at participating U.S. airports.
Airport officials say this enrollment event offers Upstate residents who are already conditionally approved for Global Entry the opportunity to complete their required in-person interview without traveling to a permanent enrollment center.
“We are excited to partner with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to bring this enrollment opportunity directly to our community,” Kevin Howell, president and CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District, said. “Global Entry and TSA PreCheck make the travel experience smoother and more efficient, and hosting this event at GSP reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible experience for the travelers and families we serve across the Upstate.”
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 16-18, 2026, and will take place in the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport’s conference center, located in the terminal ticket lobby.
Only conditionally approved Global Entry applicants are eligible to participate in this enrollment event. Travelers who have not yet applied must do so in advance through the DHS Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) website at ttp.dhs.gov. Most applications are reviewed within two weeks, though some may take longer depending on an applicant’s background.
What to Bring to Your Interview:
U.S. Citizens: Valid U.S. passport and a secondary form of photo ID (e.g., driver’s license)
Non-U.S. Citizens: Valid passport, a secondary photo ID, and a valid U.S. visa printed in the passport
U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents: Valid passport, a secondary photo ID, and a machine-readable lawful permanent resident card
How to Schedule an Appointment:
Conditionally approved applicants are encouraged to secure their appointment as soon as possible, as slots are limited. To schedule, visit ttp.dhs.gov and log in under “Returning Global Entry Members or Applicants,” then select “Atlanta FO - GSP GE Mobile Enrollment Event” as the interview location. Airport officials say walk-in customers will be accepted, but applicants with confirmed appointments will be given priority.
