Marion Curtis Howell, 82, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away June 5, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, son of the late Walter Curtis and Frances Rollins Howell, he was a South Carolina Army National Guard Veteran, an employee of ABF Freight, and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Ann Burnett Howell of the home; one daughter, Stephanie H. Bishop (Tommy) of Campobello; two sons, John Baron Howell (Lori) and Brian Curtis Howell (Kelli) all of Greer; four grandchildren, Brian Curtis Howell, II, Houston Trey Howell, Chloe Elizabeth Howell and Madison Ann Howell; and two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Brook Howell and Brian Curtis Howell, III.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Sharon Hall and Judy Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. June 9 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly. Webcasting will be available at www.thewoodmdortuary.com. Burial will follow in the Howell Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. June 9, at The Wood Mortuary prior to the service.
