The Caring Corner food pantry at Greenville Technical College has been renamed in honor of Laurie Pufpaff, the nursing instructor who founded the pantry in 2014. The pantry has grown significantly and now provides students with grocery and personal care items, bus passes, gas cards, emergency assistance, and referrals for housing resources. The pantry is part of the college's STAR Center, which offers assistance to students facing food and housing insecurity. The rededication event was planned and executed by students in the college's Marketing program, who also held a Pack the Pantry event to stock the shelves.
