Spartanburg Community College (SCC) has received a $4,300 grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to address food insecurity among its students. The funding will support SCC's initiatives, such as Chaser's Pantry, community partnerships, and student support services, which aim to expand access to healthy food options and strengthen nutrition-focused programming. The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $25 million in grant funding since its inception in 2001 to support local organizations working to increase access to nutritious food and promote long-term health and wellness.
