Spartanburg Water's Landrum Drinking Water Treatment Plant has been awarded "Best Tasting Water" in South Carolina at the annual South Carolina Environmental Conference. The Spartanburg Water R.B. Simms Drinking Water Treatment Facility also received fourth in the state, with both facilities competing against 14 drinking water utilities from across South Carolina. The Landrum facility will compete for overall best tasting water in North America at the 2026 American Water Works Association's ACE Conference.
