Greer CPW and the Greer Police Department are hosting a Drug Take Back Day event on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where residents can drop off any unwanted medications. The event aims to prevent unsafe medicine disposal, which can have detrimental effects on the community and the environment. Prescription or over-the-counter pills and patches will be accepted, but sharps and liquids will not.
