Mary Greer, a retired employee of the City of Greer, is still active in her community and is proud of her accomplishments during her 27-year tenure with the city. She was the first minority employee, finance director, interim city administrator, city clerk, and assistant city administrator. Greer's hard work and determination paved the way for other young women in the city and she continues to encourage young people to get an education and follow their dreams.
