Eastside High School’s Alice Bridges is the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by GreerNews.com.
Voting opened Tuesday and remained open until 5 p.m on Thursday. Voters were able to cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.
Bridges, who is just a freshman, played an outstanding tournament at Byrnes over the weekend, being named all-tournament and helping the Lady Eagles capture the Silver Bracket championship.
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week is a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2026-2027 school year. Athletes from Greer, Byrnes, Riverside, Eastside, Greer Middle College, and Blue Ridge are eligible.
