The inaugural GreerNews.com Sports Awards will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 7pm at Turner Chapel on the campus of North Greenville University.
The GreerNews.com Sports Awards will be an ESPYs-style red carpet event that will recognize athletes and teams from the 2025-2026 season from Blue Ridge High School, Byrnes High School, Eastside High School, Greer High School, Greer Middle College and Riverside High School.
“It will be a great night to showcase the phenomenal high school athletes and teams that have excelled in sports in our coverage area this year,” said Trey Stewart, Regional Editor for GreerNews.com. “We have been blessed with much success this year and it will be a great opportunity to bring everyone together for one night to celebrate those accomplishments as a collective community.”
The GreerNews.com Sports Awards will present over 30 awards and three nominees for each award will be invited to the event.
Tickets for the event will go on sale April 1, 2026.
