Voting will remain open until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28. Voters can only cast one vote per device during the voting period.
 
The Athlete of the Week will be announced on GreerNews.com on Wednesday night, October 28. 
 
Nominees for the week of October 19-25 are:
 
Tre' Segarra, Byrnes football
Segarra rushed for 208 yards and had five total touchdowns in Byrnes' 56-20 region championship win over J.L. Mann.
 
Marquiel Troupe, Blue Ridge football
Troupe had eight receptions for 135 yards and two TDs in Blue Ridge's 25-20 win over Christ Church.
 
Lyndez Smith, Eastside football
Smith had five tackles for loss, a sack, and returned a fumble for a touchdown to give Eastside a 12-7 region win over Mauldin.
 
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week will be a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2026-2027 school year.
