Multiple students in Greenville County Schools have been identified as Semifinalists in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

The National Merit Scholarship Program awards high-achieving high school seniors with funds for their undergraduate studies. The GCS students are among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists, who now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for nearly 6,700 scholarships worth more than $24 million.
