7 Brew of Greer made a $1,000 donation to United Way of the Piedmont at its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning.
The new drive-through coffee stand made its debut in Greer at the beginning of the month, replacing the Long John Silver’s on Wade Hampton and bringing 50 new jobs to the area. On Dec. 4, the crew officially celebrated their stand’s opening with a ribbon-cutting, drawing large crowds for free coffee.
Mark Robinson, CEO of Piedmont Beverage Company, says the donation to United Way supports the three pillars of 7 Brew's mission: speed, quality and kindness.
“As a new corporate resident, we want to provide kindness to the community, so this is our small way of giving back,” Robinson said. “We really value the work that the United Way of the Piedmont does and the way that they provide assistance to families in need.”
Keana Infante, 7 Brew Greer Stand Manager, says that opening week has been busy, but rewarding, for the team. Infante has been a 7 Brew employee since 2023, and says that the people she gets to work with are the reason she plans to continue.
“All of the employees are loving it, and I feel like they've learned so much in just two weeks of training,” she said. “I couldn’t be here or do any of this without them.”
This Saturday, to celebrate their first weekend in operation, the 7 Brew Greer team will host “Swag Day.” All day on Dec. 6, if you buy a large drink, you can get a free 7 Brew T-shirt with your purchase. The celebrations are set to continue into next week, with the crew’s “7 Days of 7 Brew” event. Throughout this week, the stand will offer a different promotion each day.
“It’s just been amazing to see the community support, and the number of people that are so excited to have another 7 Brew,” Robinson said. “We’re so happy to be here, to be a member of the community and continue to grow the brand.”
