Eight Greenville County High Schools landed among South Carolina’s top 50 public high schools in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Public High Schools rankings.
The Best High Schools rankings are compiled each year and include data on a variety of factors, including enrollment, student diversity, participation in free and reduced-price lunch programs, graduation rates and state assessment results. For the 2026-27 school year, 320 public schools were ranked in South Carolina.
In Greenville County, eight schools ranked among the top 50 best public high schools. In addition, one school ranked among the top 100 statewide, four more ranked among the top 200, and one additional school ranked among the top 300.
