Fall is less than a week away, and there are plenty of ways to get out into the city.
Here’s a look at five events happening this weekend in Greer and Lyman:
Music on the Hill | Thursday, Sept. 17, 7-9 p.m.
Lyman is continuing its free live music series tonight at the Lyman Amphitheater (146 Community St., Lyman). Tonight’s performer will be the Back 9 Band.
Wild Ace Community Yard Sale | Saturday, Sept. 19, 8-11 a.m.
Wild Ace Pizza & Pub will have a community yard sale in its parking lot this Saturday. Sign-ups to sell have ended, but residents can still come day-of to buy their neighbors’ old treasures.
Game & Puzzle Swap | Saturday, Sept. 19, 3-4 p.m.
The Greer Library is hosting a board game and puzzle swap this weekend. Residents can bring their gently used games and puzzles to the circulation desk anytime through Friday, Sept. 18, and return on Saturday, Sept. 19, to get new ones.
ECHO Live at The Mason Jar | Saturday, Sept. 19, 8-11:30 p.m.
ECHO will perform live at The Mason Jar this Friday. ECHO is a Greenville-based band specializing in pop, rock and dance hits.
Paint in the Park at Greer Farmers Market | Sunday, Sept. 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Greer Farmers Market is continuing its core market season with its “En Plair Air” market this Sunday. Sunday’s market will have a free paint-in-the-park session hosted by Plein Air Painters, as well as a free yoga session hosted by Sikorski Yoga.
