The Greenville County Schools Board of Trustees met for a regular meeting on Tuesday night, voting to approve a small land purchase in Simpsonville.
The purchase was for 2.4 acres at 176 Woodside Rd., Simpsonville. According to district officials, this land is adjacent to 219 acres of district-owned property, and the purchase is to support the Long-Range Facilities Plan.Â
Trustees approved the $220,000 purchase unanimously.
The Board had two other action items to consider on Tuesday — a physical education exemption for one student and a disciplinary appeal for another student. The physical education exemption was approved unanimously, and the disciplinary appeal was denied unanimously.
