City offices in Greer are expected to close or alter their hours during the holiday season.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and on the day of Jan. 1, 2026, all city offices will be closed. From Dec. 29-31 and on Jan. 2, city offices will operate on the normal schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City trash collection will also be altered over the Christmas holiday. Thursday trash will be collected on Friday, Dec. 26, and Friday trash will be collected on Saturday, Dec. 27. 

For the New Year’s holiday, Thursday trash will be collected on Friday, Jan. 2, and Friday trash will be collected on Saturday, Jan. 3. The full trash collection schedule for 2025 and 2026 can be viewed here.
