Greer CPW has announced the winners of its 2025 Holiday Lights Contest, an annual competition now in its 11th year.
The competition opens each year to Greer CPW residential electric customers, giving them an opportunity to show off their light displays. This year, there were three competition categories: “Judges’ Favorite,” “Best Use of LED” and “Social Media Favorite.”
For the first two contests, Greer CPW employees ranked homes based on their creativity and originality, visual impact, theme execution, craftsmanship, holiday spirit and use of LEDs. Homes that opt for LED lights, a more energy-efficient lighting, received extra credit. For the “Social Media Favorite” competition, Greer residents voted for their favorite display on Greer CPW’s social media pages.
Each competition winner received a $250 prize. Here’s a look at this year’s winners.
Judges’ Favorite: 104 Crestview Circle
Best use of LED: 256 Sheffield Road
Social Media Favorite: 200 Hidden Springs Lane
