A new diner has opened on Trade Street in Greer, bringing a restaurant back to the old Cannon’s Drive In location.
Greer Diner is a classic diner-style restaurant with burgers, chicken tenders, milkshakes and more. The crew had their grand opening on Dec. 19, taking over the former Cannon’s.
Cannon’s Drive In Restaurant has been a staple in the Greer community since 1971. In May of this year, Scott Cannon Jr. and his wife, Atalie, the third generation to own Cannon’s Drive In, announced that they would be closing their doors.
The Greer Diner team began working to revamp the space this fall in preparation for their winter opening. The location offers a variety of small bites and meals, all under $15.
The diner is located at 409 Trade St. and is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, as well as on Sundays. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and the diner is closed on Mondays.
