The Greer Farmers Market has opened its vendor application for its Core Market Series, now in its 11th year.
The Core Market Series spans the summer months, from late April through early October. Markets are every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with all vendors being based within 50 miles of the city.
Local farmers, bakers and artisans are all able to apply to be a summer vendor online. The application fee is $20, with the process looking slightly different for new and returning applicants. Here is a look at the application process for various groups:
2025 Season Vendors: Can apply as renewing vendors in the MarketWurks portal.
First Time Vendors AND Vendors that skipped 2025: Should register as "new" on the MarketWurks portal system.
Partners & Nonprofits: Should email the Greer Farmers Market market manager at Tiffany@greerfarmersmarket.com before applying for further instructions.
According to Market officials, vendors can expect a few changes this market season. For the first time in five years, market fees have increased for every vendor category except for farmers. Additionally, all revenue accepting vendors, excluding farmers, are required to get a business license from the City of Greer.
The initial review period for the Core Market Series will span from Jan. 15-29. Fall and Winter market dates should open for applications in May.
