Voting opens Monday at 5pm for the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.
Voting will remain open until 5pm on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Voters can cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.

Nominees for the week of Jan. 5-11 are:
Olivia Cox, Byrnes girls wrestling
Cox captured the 155-lb weight class championship over the weekend at the Lady Rebels Classic. Cox, a first-year athlete, has stepped into a big role for the Lady Rebels this season.
Laila Harvey, Eastside girls basketball
Harvey had a big week in two wins for the Eagles, scoring 13 points in a win over Boiling Springs on Tuesday, before following up that performance with 19 points and 14 rebounds in Eastside's win over Riverside.
Jyssiah Foster, Greer boys basketball
Greer's senior guard had a big game in the Jackets' 82-63 win over Seneca. Foster poured in 21 points to keep Greer rolling in region play.
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week will be a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year.
