A new ramen shop is open for business on Woodruff Road.

JINYA Ramen Bar, a national chain specializing in ramen and small plates, celebrated the arrival of its second location in South Carolina on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The new restaurant is located in the Magnolia Park Shopping Center at 1025 Woodruff Rd., Greenville.

“This opening represents an important step in our growth across the Southeast,” said Tomo Takahashi, founder and CEO of JINYA Holdings Inc. “We’re proud to bring our ramen to Greenville and look forward to building lasting relationships with the community through great food and hospitality.”

Restaurant-goers can expect a casual atmosphere with a variety of Japanese-inspired dishes to choose from. Each guest is welcomed by the staff with a shout of “Irasshaimase,” which means “welcome” in Japanese. As guests leave, the staff shout “Arigatō,” meaning “thank you.” The greetings are part of the restaurant’s efforts to incorporate elements of Japanese hospitality into the dining experience.

JINYA Ramen Bar operates Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. To learn more about the location or to see the full menu, visit jinyaramenbar.com.
