The Greer Fire Department responded to a house fire in the early hours of Tuesday, Nov. 11.

According to officials from the department, a call came in at 2:26 a.m. reporting a structure fire at 113 Rhett St. The reported cause of the fire was a kerosene heater.

There were two occupants at home at the time of the fire, but the department says that they were able to escape without injury. No injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.
