Portions of Benson Automotive Kids Planet at Century Park in Greer have reopened following a four-month improvement project.
Crews upgraded the lower section of Century Park by installing new stairs, railings, sidewalks and landscaping. City officials say this was to address problems with erosion and help keep the park open after heavy rain.
The City approved the $475,501 project in January, with funding coming out of its hospitality and general funds. Construction was completed by McMurria Grading on Monday.
According to the city, the hillside slides, climbing wall and zipline at Century Park are now fully open. Residents can visit the park at 3605 Brushy Creek Rd.
