Moonlight Movies | Thursday, July 23, 6 p.m.
The City of Greer is continuing its Moonlight Movies series this Thursday at Greer City Park. This week’s film is Inside Out 2. Pre-show activities begin at 6 p.m., and the movie begins at 7 p.m. For more information, visit the city’s website.
The Elderberry Jamboree at Lyman Farmers Market | Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Lyman Farmers Market is hosting a special indoor market this Saturday at the Lyman Event Center. There will be live local musicians “jamming” throughout the event, with elderberry products featured at the Lyman Market booth. Outside the event center, Operation Grow Spartanburg will be hosting its Food Truck Rally from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Greer Farmers Market Watermelon Day | Sunday, July 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Greer Farmers Market is continuing its Core Market Season with Watermelon Day this Sunday at Greer City Park. There will be a Watermelon Spitting Competition to see who can spit a watermelon seed the farthest, as well as a plant swap booth. The Market is also welcoming the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile this Sunday, a large, hot dog-shaped car for residents to take photos with.
