Registration has opened for the Greer Police Department’s inaugural Jingle Jog 5K, set for Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Jingle Jog 5K will be a festive run raising money for Greer’s 37th annual Cops for Tots program, which brings Christmas gifts to children in need. The event will start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, with a kids’ Santa Sprint event preceding at 8 a.m.
At the time of publication, the registration fee for the Jingle Jog is $37 per person. Department officials note that pricing will increase after Sept. 30. The Santa Sprint, reserved for children ages 10 and under, costs $5 to participate.
