The Spartanburg County Pet Resource Center (PRC) is hosting Paws on Wheels, a mobile, low-cost vaccine clinic for pet owners, this weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., the mobile clinic will be parked outside the PRC Pet Support Lobby. Available services include core dog and cat vaccines, including Rabies, DAPP, Bordetella, FVRCP and FeLV. Other services include heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, microchips, heartworm tests and nail trimming.
“PRC aims to offer continued community support through our Safety Net Program and partnerships that provide affordable and accessible prevention services,” said Kyla Wagner, Deputy Director of the Animal Welfare Services Department. “This effort reflects a broader priority toward proactive, community-based animal services focused on addressing challenges before they result in animals entering a shelter.”
Additionally, the adoption lobby will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Current adoption specials end on Sept. 12, and they are as follows:
Waived fees for senior pets, adult cats, and pets who’ve waited too long for a second chance.
Half off ($25) adoption fees for all other pets.
