The Greer Area Touchdown Club honored on Thursday its Players of the Week for games played during Week Three of Greer-area high school football. 

The Offensive Player of the Week award went to sophomore QB Xavier Sammet of Greer.

The Lineman of the Week award went to senior Kendall Powell of Greer.

The Defensive Player of the Week award went to junior Smith McDowell of Riverside.
 
The Greer Touchdown Club meets every Thursday during the football season at His Vineyard Church in Greer, and the public is invited. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $16.

This week's speaker was Anderson University head football coach Bobby Lamb.
