The Town of Lyman recently revamped its website, adding new features and improving mobile compatibility.
The website has had its refreshed appearance for a few weeks. According to town officials, the new design aims to improve site usability and encourage communication between residents and the town.
“The [site maintains] the existing navigation structure familiar to residents, allowing users to continue finding information where they expect it while benefiting from improved functionality and reliability behind the scenes,” said town administrator Noel Blackman. “The website update reflects the Town's ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility and customer service by providing … a more efficient and user-friendly online experience.”
The updated website features an improved mobile interface, allowing residents to more easily access information from their phones, tablets and desktop computers. Blackman says the redesign also incorporates ADA-compliant features to ensure that information is accessible to all users.
In addition to the new appearance, the new website also includes an improved calendar system and interactive online forms. Town officials say they hope these new features will make it easier for residents to stay informed and interact with the town government.
