U-Vest Financial, a new financial advisory firm in Greer, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate its arrival in town.
The Greer office is the first U-Vest Financial location in South Carolina. The Tallahassee, Florida-based company has expanded throughout the Southeast since its founding in 2019. The company cites the Upstate area’s continued growth and prime location as a driving factor in its decision to expand its operations here.
“Greer’s location in the heart of the Upstate gives us access to a thriving business environment,” said Ryan Petteruti, financial advisor at the Greer office. “... We’re proud to be here and excited to become an active part of this community as we grow together.”
The Greer office has been open since August 2025, though it officially celebrated its arrival with the community on Thursday. Services offered at the firm include financial planning, retirement services and investment management.
“We really look forward to expanding and growing the community,” Petteruti said. “We’re going to be here a long time, so we’re super excited to get involved, meet business leaders and families, and help people grow their money.”
