Brenda Lucille Cantrell Price, 80, passed away September 23, 2026.
A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late Elbert and Thelma Lindsey Cantrell, she was the co-owner and operator of Chelsea’s Ladies Apparel and previously served as branch manager of American Federal. Brenda was a member of Washington Baptist Church and a former member of Victor Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, her family and friends, and her dog, Abby.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard C. Price of the home; two daughters, Tarra Godfrey (Mike/Goof) of Greer and Teesha Haney (Kent) of Taylors; a son, Brandon Price (Missy) of Greer; five grandchildren, Price Godrey (Carley), Wilson Godfrey, Brason Haney (Micah), Griffin Price, and Mallory Price; and five great-grandchildren, Parks Godfrey, Bowen Godfrey, Addie Clay Godfrey, Stafford Godfrey, and Sutton Haney.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Cantrell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Washington Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Trent Henson, Dr. Keith Kelly, Dr. Drew Hines, and Rev. Ken Vickery. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Price Godrey, Wilson Godfrey, Brason Haney, Griffin Price, Pete Calhoun, and Gene Tapp.
Honorary escorts will be Jack and Elizabeth Atkins, Don and Sherry Brown, Macho and Terri Smith, Patrick Cloninger, Ashley Warner, Dana Fox, Caroline Millican, Sharon Calhoun, and Sherry Morrow.
Visitation will be held from 12:15-1:45 p.m. Sept. 26 at the church.
