Cameron Kreswell Neely, born on Sept. 2, 1968, to the late Wesley Lawton Neely and Jean Littlejohn Neely at Allen Bennett Hospital in Greer, South Carolina. His life was tragically cut short on May 20, 2026, just down the road from where it first began.
Cam graduated from Eastside High School in 1987 after attending his first three years at Riverside High School. He loved motorcycles, trucks and being around people. Known for his outgoing spirit and sense of humor, he was often the life of the party and brought joy to those around him. He grew up at Taylors First Baptist and was a current member of Greer First Baptist Church.
At the age of 24, Cam was involved in a life-changing automobile accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, forever changing his life.
Despite the challenges he faced, Cam continued to live life with determination and heart. Many in the Greer community will remember him as the familiar face who helped keep the sidewalks and roads clean. With his walker and safety vest, he became a well-known and beloved part of the community. He never missed a chance to give a thumbs up to passing trucks, and he truly loved life and the people in it.
Cam had a generous heart and a spirit that touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Jim Neely, Jeff Neely, Paul Neely, Bruce Neely, and Les Neely; their wives; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. May 23 at Greer First Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Doug Mize. Burial will follow in Taylors First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. May 23 at the church.
The family will be at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Cathy Neely, 511 West Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
