Clara L Crosby Renninger, 88, wife of 67 years to the late William ”Bill” Renninger, of Lyman, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter to the late Harry Crosby and Elanor Fertig Crosby.
Mrs. Renninger loved to cook. She worked as a food service manager at Wellford Elementary for several years and was an avid walker. Clara also loved to spend time with her husband, Bill, and helped him build his Mustang airplane in their garage and also helped him in barbeque competitions where they have won numerous awards.
She is survived by her three children, James Renninger (Renee), Barbara Krzyzak (Bill), and Cheryl Harvey (Joe); 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Harry, Betty, Tom, Kathy, and Helen; and many more family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by her two sons, David and Greg Renninger; great grandson, Theadore; and brothers and sisters, Jane, Elan, Richard and Jim.
Clara will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family takes comfort in knowing Clara is reunited with beloved husband, and that their love story continues beyond this life.
