Faye Louise Geddis Wilson, wife of the late James Woodrow Wilson, passed away June 2, 2026.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late General Jackson and Deaver Mae Hall Geddis, she was a retired employee of Star Paper Tube and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, James Woodrow Wilson of Greer; two sisters, Carolyn Norris of Spartanburg and Helen Braggs of Greenville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by three children, Richard Allen Wilson, Wanda Faye Thompson, and Tammy Paris; two brothers, Junior Geddis and Howard Geddis; and three sisters, Ruth Smith, Oliee Lynn, and Linda Geddis.
A private entombment for the family will be held.
Visitation will held from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. June 10 at The Wood Mortuary.
