James “Jimmy” Ward Farotto, 70, passed away September 24, 2026.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late Mario and Virginia Ward Farotto, he was a retail and commercial salesman and of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are his wife, Carter Ridenhour Farotto of the home; three sons, Mike Farotto (Kelly) of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, Alex Farotto (Cara) of Greenville, South Carolina, and Zach Farotto (Shan) of Charlotte, North Carolina; a daughter, Jenna F. Teague (Josh) of Taylors, South Carolina; a brother, Richard “Dick” Farotto (Sunny) of Melbourne, Florida; and six grandchildren, Corinne, Cooper, Cameron, Grayson, Collin, and Ellie.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1:45 p.m. Oct. 3 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
