Peggy Ann Moyer, 71, passed away June 27, 2026.
A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Allen Woodman and Helen Eleanore Shurr Moyer, Peggy was a woman of many talents. A mother of three children, she lead and encouraged a creative life. Professionally she was a beautician and a nurse and found joy in quilting and sewing. She was known for her adventurous spirit, curious nature and vibrant independence. Peggy loved traveling to various parts of the country and world- all by car, plane or her boat.
She is survived by one daughter, Sunny Mullarkey McGowan (Kristopher), two sons, Shawn David Mullarkey (Brittany) and Daniel Allen Mullarkey (Sarah); three sisters, Marie Perfect of Kerhonkson, New York, Ann Petrakis (Steve) of Reading, Pennsylvania, and Carol Troxell (Al) of Ormond Beach, Florida; one brother, Scott Moyer (Leslie) of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Hayse, Payton, Ellie, Seamus, Ruby and Norah.
A memorial service will be held at noon Sept. 26 at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading Pennsylvania 19605.
