Greenville County Schools and the Greenville County Schools Foundation recently announced the inductees for the 2026 GCS Hall of Fame.

The GCS Hall of Fame honors men and women who have graduated from or worked at Greenville County Schools and have made significant contributions at the local, regional, national or international levels across a range of fields. This year’s class includes six individuals, each of whom will be recognized at the 2026 Greenville County Schools Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026.

Here’s a look at the inductees:

  1. Joey Batson, Travelers Rest High School Class of 1979 — Collegiate Coach

  2. Paula DeCesaris, Blue Ridge High School Class of 1991 — NASA Aerospace Engineer

  3. Grier Mullins, Greenville High School Class of 1968 — Public Education Advocate

  4. Steve Owings, Wade Hampton High School Class of 1971 — Business Leader

  5. Shammond Williams, Southside High School Class of 1993 — Professional Basketball Player

  6. Patrick “Pat” Sudduth, Greer High School Class of 1959, GCS educator and administrator — Retired Educator
